Dedicated patternista, Giles Kime is Deputy Editor of Homes & Gardens magazine, the London-based interiors title launched in 1919. His day job gives him an opportunity to indulge his passion for pattern in all its myriad forms, in particular fabrics, wallpapers, tiles, flooring and accessories.
His fellow patternistas are Erika Short, the magazine’s Art Director (who designed the passionforpattern logo and continually obsesses about the appearance of this blog) as well as Kate French, Emma Thomas, Ali Brown and Luisa Ferdenzi who produce the decorating pages in the magazine – a pursuit that gives them plenty of opportunities to indulge their passion. Dirty work but someone has to do it….

Hello Giles
As an avid reader of your magazine I came across your blog … I also have just started as the UK distributor of my sister-in-law’s bedlinen and accessories designs, some of which have fabulous patterns which I thought you might be interested in. See http://www.biancalorenne.co.uk.
We launched in the UK at ‘home’ and were just featured by Katrina Burroughs in The Sunday Times yesterday.
Please get in touch if you would like any more information
Kind regards
Elinor
